Bigger size tattoos with shadings are not as affected by imperfection of the healing process as fine line tattoos.

Rarely tattoos require a touch up after healing. In addition to the very quality of the tattoo itself, this is due to different conditions(besides a skin as a very specific (alive) type of canvas).

Such as the type of skin, age, the place of application and the type of design (healing imperfection is most visible on the thin minimalistic tattoos as they have less elements masking each other). And also on how responsibly you treated the healing.

In the case of fine line and single needle tattoos it is easier to notice the irregularity of healing on the thinnest lines.

Therefore, when you want to make a fine line (single needle) tattoo, take this moment into account and be prepared for the fact that outlines could fade away partly or look not solid after healing.
